The Propeller Pendant Ceiling Light by Herman Miller is a striking geometric lamp with a dramatic angular twisted shade encompassing a steel wire-frame that is coated with resinous lacquer developed by the military. This modern pendant with its curvilinear shape and clean sculptural lines is the ideal addition to any Mid Century Modern home. George Nelson originally designed the Propeller Pendant Ceiling Light in 1952, inspired by a Swedish collection of silk-covered hanging lamps.
Handcrafted in Michigan, U.S.A.
Care and CleaningIn most settings the lamps can be cleaned with a feather duster or a soft cloth. If they become grimy, the process will be bit more complicated. We suggest cleaning them with a mild soap solution (a little ivory dish liquid in two quarts of lukewarm water, for example) and a soft cloth. To remove the soap, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry with a soft rag. Stronger solutions, like a glass cleaner containing ammonia, could discolor or damage the plastic coating.
|Materials||Plastic coating over a steel wire-frame, brushed, nickel-plated steel.|
